Amplify jumped at the challenge to bring the campaign to life, despite having only a quarter of the production budget of the other big tech players on the Croisette. Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity has become more passive, from lectures to product demos to Q&As. Pinterest and Amplify decided to break the traditional format to bring creativity (back) to Cannes. Building on Pinterest’s new global brand campaign, we created a creative oasis for Pinterest on the beach at Cannes Lions. A space for guests to rejuvenate, get inspired and get creative. A space that stood out from the cookie-cutter marquees that lined the beach. A space where people could try something new and truly experience how ‘It’s different here’.
