‘EE Home Presents: The Circus’ – A theatrical spectacular live event and 30 minute TV show episode that hilariously dramatised the typical household chaos of school holidays while showing how EE Home’s products help turn havoc into harmony. The success of this project relied on the successful dramatisation of the EE brand and EE Home product benefits through the artistry of circus and live entertainment. A narrative circus experience is not something the live entertainment industry or the circus industry sees very often. A circus experience telling a brand narrative is not something that any industry sees very often. As such, critical to the success of the project was a collaboration of experts in immersive live entertainment via Studio Secret Cinema, circus via Revel Pucks Circus, and brand experience via Havas Play to ensure that the experience would succeed in being excellent, credible family entertainment, but also showing how EE Home’s products help turn havoc into harmony in an authentic way.
‘The Circus’ ran for 4 sold-out performances in London’s West End in the summer holidays 2024, providing welcome entertainment for hundreds of families. During October half-term, ‘The Circus’ was shared on EE TV and YouTube, helping millions more families bond over shared thrills and laughs. With rave reviews, national media coverage and 75m impressions across the entire campaign, ‘The Circus’ helped EE take a big (top) step towards achieving their business and brand ambitions, to become the UK’s most personal brand, offering solutions to everyday challenges.
