The Dalmore Presents...

Chorus Arts

Client: The Dalmore

Sustainability is the integral linchpin of our organisation. At Chorus Arts, we don't start our projects with a sustainability target; we operate with a consciously sustainable mindset as standard.

For 'The Dalmore Presents…', every decision was measured against this principle, ensuring a truly comprehensive, integrated approach. Sustainability is rooted in both planet and people. We already had a clear and unwavering environmental plan, so we amplified our ambition around people. The results included: impressively low event emission of 0.74tCO2e, a landfill waste reduction of 75% (vs 2023) and a people-positive impact that we're immensely proud of. This societal sustainability ethos shaped every element of our project, from engaging emerging designers to offering fair contracts and hands-on mentorship. We equipped the designers with transferable skills and a deeper understanding of commercial viability, supporting a new generation of creative practitioners and embedding equity and inclusivity into the project's core. From the outset, environmental sustainability guided decisions across transportation, material use, and supplier partnerships. Transportation was a key challenge, with furniture sourced from designers across the UK. We worked closely with couriers to combine shipments across multiple projects, significantly reducing emissions. Graphics and displays were designed with reuse in mind, while cocktails prioritised locally sourced, biodegradable ingredients. This holistic approach set a benchmark for sustainable luxury events, demonstrating that sustainability doesn’t have to compromise creativity or excellence.
