Jess is Chief Marketing Officer for Outernet, the UK's most visited cultural attraction. She leads on all marketing and communications for Outernet, which within only two years of opening now welcomes over 75 million visitors each years and has been named the UK's number one cultural attraction. Previously she was Head of Marketing Campaigns and Strategic Communications for the GLA and Mayor of London. There she was responsible for leadership of multiple teams at City Hall, delivering all integrated campaigns for the Mayor of London. This included issues such as the communications response to COVID-19 and economic recovery from the pandemic, housing, the cost-of-living crisis, serious youth violence, violence against women and girls, air quality and the environment and many more. Highlights include the delivery of the world famous London is Open campaign and Have a Word VAWG campaign which went on to win a Glass Cannes Lion in addition to numerous other high profile industry awards. Prior to that she worked for various charities including Actionaid, The British Exploring Society and vInspired.
